David Webber Farquhar
1844 - 1905

My father's father was born in Boston and went out to California by way of Panama in 1862, returning to the East Coast in 1864 when he was twenty. In 1867 he married Sarah Malvina Joslyn; they had three children: William, Robert, and Sarah. He was active for many years in local politics and government, but died suddenly during my father's senior year in high school.
